Perlego and Rowman & Littlefield International Partner Up to Offer Textbooks on Subscription Service
Perlego have struck a new agreement with Rowman & Littlefield International to offer digital content as part of the Perlego platform.
Gauthier Van Malderen, the founder of Perlego, asserted that this will help Perlego to cement its position in both the humanities and social sciences sectors of the academic publishing market.
Perlego offers students unlimited access to university textbooks and leading publications for an affordable monthly subscription fee. It already has 220,000 e-textbooks and publications from over 1,500 different academic publishers, including Pearson, Bloomsbury, Sage and Oxford University Press. This partnership will bring onboard an additional 575 eBook titles, providing an innovative new revenue stream for Rowman & Littlefield International and allowing them to capitalise on a market undergoing a significant digital transformation.
