Paid Internship at Rowman & Littlefield International
Rowman & Littlefield International is offering a paid editorial internship based at our office in Vauxhall, South London, for eight weeks, starting in end of October to mid-December 2018. This opportunity would best suit a recent graduate looking for experience in an academic publishing environment.
The role offers hands-on experience of key editorial and rights tasks across our diverse range of subject areas. You will support the editorial team on a rights and contracts project, liaising with authors, and carrying out some miscellaneous office administration.
The successful candidate will be able to work with a high degree of autonomy from the outset. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic self-starter, with strong attention to detail and an appetite to learn about academic publishing. The successful candidate will work closely with Dhara Snowden, Senior Commissioning Editor for Politics, International Relations and Security and Isobel Cowper-Coles, Commissioning Editor for Philosophy.
Rowman & Littlefield International is a small team with a wide range of senior level publishing knowledge and skills, so this is a rare opportunity to work and interact in this environment.
To apply, please send a CV and covering letter to Isobel Cowper-Coles at [email protected] Deadline for applications is Monday 15th October.
